None for the Road Final Exam
The “None for the Road” course was passed into law by the New Mexico legislature in 1993 to help combat the problem of drunk driving and focus attention on the serious DWI problem in our state. This course is designed to inform and educate drivers about laws regarding driving-while-impaired (DWI) and its potential impact and consequences. Please know that this is an online course that is administered by UNM Continuing Education, not by the New Mexico MVD. This course is required if you are applying for your first New Mexico Driver’s License and are 18 – 24 years of age, or older than 25 years of age and have been convicted of DWI/DUI. It is important to know that you do not need to attend a class for this course. As previously mentioned, this is an online course that is self-taught and self-paced.
